I am currently the Chairman of the Hawke's Bay Mountain Bike Club in New Zealand. My local trails are in the PanPac Eskdale Mountain Bike Park and thier are about 90klm of trails in this forest park.
PanPac Eskdale park is one of the best riding places in New Zealand. If you want to ride here in Hawke's Bay New Zealand contact me and I will show you around my favourate trails here in the sunny Hawke's Bay.
Enjoy biking with my family to Crab Farm Winery for a beer or try the coastal cycleway.
All the places you have riden:
I started off riding in West Yorkshire, England in 1990 with a mate I met over there and bought my first bike. You didnt mind the cold and rain you were just buzzing about getting out on the briddle ways and riding some amazing trails. The UK has some of the best natural trails anywhere in the world though it does rain a wee bit.
Rotorua, New Zealand is very cool with some of the best trails anywhere in the world they are New Zealands mecca the trail network is very cool riding. The World Champs a few years ago put that place on the world stage and we all raved about it internationally.
2009 I went and stayed with a mate in Europe for three weeks riding which was excellent real alpine riding! We road in the Verbier Valley in Switzerland for five days with uplifts to the top of the mountains then adventure rides back to my mates place please check out some of my video clips of some rides over there. If are ever over there and want a guiding company contact www.bikeverbier.com
We then headed down to Seirra de Espuna in Southern Spain and road local trails with the locals from El Berro check out Simon a member here at BigBlue he doesnt speak English but it is easy to comunicate with "Google translate". What a very cool village and an excellent place to ride, steep, loose, rocky, dry, fast. Very very cool place to ride.
Queenstown in New Zealand the adventure capital of the world we did some very cool heli biking down there up the Remarkables down through the gold mineing trails to Gibbston Valley where they grow a mean grape.
