Taupo/Rotorua/Napier

Everywhere in New Zealand, Wellington a great place to own a mountian bike as well.
Your favourite trails:
Taupo trails, just flow very nicely. Fast in the summer and because of the pumas base there is no mud in the winter, perfect. Napier/Hawkes Bay. Steep technical country, great place to learn to ride big hills, varying surfaces and conditions.

Local Advice places to stay, cool things to do etc:
Taupo is a tourist mecca anyway, plenty to do here, including sitting in thermal pools to relax body following epic ride. Plenty of cafes for a good caffine fix.
